Found on a remote point on Edisto Island, Brick House was built circa 1725. Although a 1929 fire destroyed all the wood elements of the building, the brick ruin is listed as a national historic landmark. Simons Young + associates, along with a team of consultants and engineers, was awarded grants to stabilize the structure.
